Contributions

Principals, in consultation with their school board/council, and in accordance with the School Education Act 1999, the School Education Regulations 2000, determine all contributions and charges requested of parents for the education of their children.

Financial support provided by parents has always played an enabling role in the provision of resources that extend the school’s capacity to add value to students’ learning experience. Whilst contributions are voluntary the quality of our teaching and learning program will be maximised when each family makes its contribution to the cost of supplementing funding gained from other sources, including the State and Commonwealth Governments.

Booklists

Families will be provided with a booklist for the purchase of personal items each school year. We have tried to keep this as low as possible for all students. The booklists will include items such as pens and pencils, pencil cases and rulers and exercise books. There are two ways to purchase booklist items.

  1. You can buy directly from Campions. They provide a range of options that include:
  • Buy online and deliver to the school
  • Buy online and free delivery to home if ordered on-time or a fee of up to $8.00 (cut-off date will be on booklists)
  • Buy online and collect from Campion
  • Buy directly from Campion and collect at the same time (not recommended in late January as queues can be very long)
  1. Alternatively, parents can take the book list and shop at other suppliers such as Kmart or Big W to purchase the items.

This process will also allow parents to carry over items not used from previous years. Please note -You are under no obligation to buy items from Campions and are free to purchase the booklist requirements from any place of your choice.
